Finding 19th Century Ceramics and Glass at Burch House

For a change, rather than indicating what CCAS members are doing at Burch House, here is what we are finding.  Normally we do not find whole pieces of glass or ceramics.  But last week in a probable builder's trench from the 19th century addition to Burch House, we found a whole wine bottle.  And as you can see, there were larger pieces of 19th century ceramics and glass.  Notice the almost complete pipe bowl and the plain ceramic marble.

The pieces below were washed this past Saturday (June 12).  And for those that helped wash on the previous Saturday, you would have seen the other half of this transfer printed plate and mug that had been found in a different unit.
